Dr Caroline Stockman is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Winchester, UK, and a Research Fellow at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the University of Leuven, Belgium. As a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a JISC Digital Leader, she is a recognised expert on human-technology relationships. She previously worked in the commercial e-learning industry, before becoming a fulltime scholar of education. Her teaching and research focuses on the many ways technology interacts with human life, society, and cultural values. She has presented her work at MIT in Boston, US, and BCS - the Chartered Institute of IT in London, UK, and published her most recent monograph on technology acceptance in education with Routledge.
