Abstract: The paper deals with the role of emotions in learning, specifically for- eign language learning, and provides an outline of the most relevant concepts and theories in this field focused on positive psychology and neuroscience. The aim of this paper is to disclose how emotions affect learning and remembering and how to use them in order to support learning.
